69th BP Fellowship Event in Melbourne - Update

SCOUTS, KANGAROOS, F1, DOLPHINS, BBQ, ARTS CENTRE AND KOALA CUDDLING!

Yes! The dates of the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix have just been changed and now overlap the 69th BP Fellowship Event which will give our event of course a roaring start! Melbourne will be in full swing and quite alive with both events on at the same time. Melbourne has it all and it keeps getting better!

The 69th BP Fellowship Event will take place from 17th to 21st March 2016 in Melbourne (AU). Scouts Australia and Scouts Victoria (the hosts) are excited to be welcoming you and your friends, the other BP Fellows, for what promises to be a spectacular, one off, not to be missed event in cosmopolitan Melbourne.

A draft programme is available for downloading on the event page of the Foundation’s website. Officially running from late afternoon on Thursday 17th to midnight on 19th March 2016, those arriving early will experience warm hospitality from Scouts Victoria. A destination worth the travel, make the most of this one with the specially tailored add-on programme (not yet fully in the draft programme) available from the evening of Wednesday 16th through Sunday 20th March including attending the official F1 Race that kicks off the season - the 20th Australian Grand Prix 2016!

The world will be either visiting or watching Melbourne so hotel accommodation will be at a premium. The Foundation has secured a 100 room block at the magnificent Park Hyatt in Melbourne, but the deadline for reservations is 10th December 2015! Start planning your holiday to coincide with the WSF event and make the most of the chance to see and do it all.

The registration package will be sent out by end of October 2015 and although the deadline for registrations will be mid or end of January 2016 the more important deadline for room reservations will be 10th December 2015.
