Today, the World Scout Foundation and World Organization of the Scout Movement are thrilled to announce the launch of a brand new Scout Donation Platform, a dynamic crowdfunding solution linking Scouts and their innovative grassroots projects to supporters of Scouting who wish to help them make a difference! 

Every day, Scouts drive positive change in their communities, leading projects and actions for peace and sustainable development. Sometimes, they need a helping hand to create a bigger impact and that’s where we can help via the Scout Donation Platform, by funding Scout projects from around the world that need additional support. 

Supporting community development and humanitarian response 

As young leaders and changemakers, Scouts around the world are always looking to learn, innovate, inspire and take action for their communities. They are great at identifying challenges and coming up with impactful solutions that can create a better world for us all. That’s why we are committed to empowering Scouts with the tools and technology they need  bring their ideas to life through fundraising. 

Since 2017, the Scout Donation Platform has served as the go-to place for Scouts to fundraise for their community service projects. With your support, Scouts have crowdfunded over USD 1.2 million towards more than 100 community projects, turning ideas into real impact across the world. 

Whether building sustainable community gardens that feed those in need, or making cities more accessible, or setting up support groups to empower young people in distress, we have seen the transformative projects Scouts are leading. Young people with great ideas for community projects can now submit them through the platform and fundraise immediately! 

In addition to supporting community projects, the Scout Donation Platform will continue to support National Scout Organizations (NSOs) to raise funds for large-scale humanitarian response and relief efforts, such as floods, earthquakes and conflict situations.  

And we are part of the solution! Together, we can make a difference by helping Scouts to reach their fundraising goals to implement their projects.

The Scout Donation Platform is also the place where people can make a one-time or recurring donation directly to the World Scout Foundation to help us to make Scouting more accessible to even more young people around the world!
