Food For Life - Scouts in Africa

Scouting News

The human race and our environment are at war. Our population is increasing, the pressure on natural resources is increasing and the most influential environmental power of modern times – climate change – is altering the way we think, the way we live and the way we grow.

These pressures are producing more droughts, floods and famine in communities around the world and unless we begin to prepare for the future, it’s a situation that is only going to worsen.

But here Scouts of Tsumeb, Namibia, and Scouts across the whole of Africa in fact are – to quote an infamous Scouting motto – being prepared.
