The Garnet de la Hunt Fund

Dear Baden-Powell Fellows,

I was so very sad to learn of the death of Garnet de la Hunt. He was certainly a great man, modest and unassuming but strong in his vision for Scouting.
Garnet knew exactly what he wanted to do on his Scouting roles and he was indefatigable in his efforts.    

He was a mentor to me and I admired him enormously.

I am creating a fund in Garnet's memory which will be used to support Scouting in South Africa. I would invite all of you who admired and respected Garnet to support this fund. John and Mark will have all the details.

I think that Garnet would be pleased to have his legacy live on in this way
