John Geoghegan, the current Head of the World Scout Foundation has announced his retirement after 20 years of outstanding and committed leadership. This has created the opportunity to appoint a new Director General of the World Scout Foundation.

The Director General will lead a small but dynamic team who are based in Geneva and work closely with all other parts of the Scout Movement. He/she will have proven experience in building sustainable international partnerships and fundraising activities. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential. The international nature of this role demands a proven ability to interact with a wide range of cultures, beliefs and values. Written and oral fluency in English is essential.
