Swiss Chapter Annual Meeting 2012

Swiss Chapter meeting – June 14th, 2012

On 14th June 2012 the 3rd Swiss Chapter Meeting took place in sunny Genolier, generously hosted by John and Kirsten Sutin on their fabulous estate. 

Some 40 BP Fellows and their guests gathered to spend some relaxing and productive hours together. 

This event would not give its full scope without the intervention of several major donors and fellows of the Foundation. So John Sutin our host, Jacques Moreillon, former Secretary General and Luc Panissod current Secretary General of the World Organization of the Scout Movement, Siegfried Weiser, Chairman Elect of the World Scout Foundation Board and Faisal Muaammar, Member of same Board have all delivered a very spontaneous and inspiring, true and sensible message about Scouting, its goals and the importance of sharing, through the World Scout Foundation and events such as the Swiss Chapter. 

All those who attended this event for the first time, whether staff members, (new) BP Fellows and their guests could relate to what was being said and the whole event definitely made sense to all those present. 

In such occasions, we wish many more would have had the chance to attend and we count on many more Swiss and Liechtenstein based BP Fellows to join next year at another fantastic location hosted by other BP Fellows.

We are looking forward to the next Swiss Chapter event in 2013 and an even more successful one, if ever possible!
