UK Chapter Annual Meeting 2012

On 13th June 2012 the 2012 Annual Meeting of the UK Chapter took place in Lymington at the Royal Yacht Club - generously hosted by David and Valerie Rippon.

At the meeting the Chapter welcomed several interested guests and especially 4 Sea Scouts from the 9th Lymington Sea Scouts who shared with all why Scouting played an important role in their lives.

The stunning location kindled good discussions and resulted in a timeline of smaller events in 2013 & 2014 leading up to a possible major event in the UK in either 2014 or 2015. The details of this timeline were further discussed and refined by a smaller group of BP Fellows in late August in a meeting at the Scout Activity Centre 'Walton Firs'.

The meeting continued informally with a dinner at the yacht club while enjoying the discussions and beautiful views of the estuary and the Isle of Wight.
