WSF Japan Chapter General Meeting

The yearly Reception of the Japanese Chapter

The Japan Chapter of the World Scout Foundation is one of the largest and active chapters within the Baden-Powell Fellowship and the yearly general meeting in Tokyo is always well attended.

This years reception was a little special as it took place jointly with the OBPS Japan chapter and due to fact that the Hon. Michael Baden-Powell (brother of the current Lord Baden-Powell) attended the reception a sa guest. Michael who is a BP Fellow himself, lives in Australia. The other main topic of the meeting part of the reception was the annoucement that the 66th BP Fellowship Event will take place in Kyoto from 26-30 November 2013!

All members of the Japanese Chapter are looking forward to welcoming their friends from all over the world and many new BP Fellows to the beautiful and historic city of Kyoto in 2013!

The next day the participants of the general meeting all visited the memorial monument of the 2011 tsunami disaster.
