WSF at the World Scout Conference!

The Foundation participated at the 42nd World Scout Conference, held online, 25-29 August 2021, and also in the preceding 14th World Scout Youth Forum, engaging with National Scout representatives from around the world and with a number of our Baden-Powell Fellows present at the events, who we were delighted to meet virtually.

Foundation Chair, Hector Robledo Cervantes and Board Member and Representative on the World Scout Committee, Geoff Morgan, delivered an plenary Update to the Conference, outlining the progress of the Foundation since the last World Scout Conference in 2017.

In addition, Young BP Fellows ran two interactive information sessions at the Youth Forum;  another two Update and Questions and Answers Side Events were ran at the Conference to share information about the Foundation with Conference participants and to connect with existing supporters; Deputy Director, Mark Knippenberg participated in one of the live sessions talking about the Foundation's work; and we ran an active exhibition too, allowing for further discussions and questions and showcasing the Foundation's work and impact.
